Inktober 2016

Tree [Inktober Day 14]

I went with the official prompt today, which is ‘tree’. I created these trees using acrylic ink in a way which was more fun, playful and looser. Once again experimenting/exploring. I used a method whereby I’d first make a phantom outline using water and theb injecting the ink to any part of the wet doodle using a brush and let the ink bloom and swirl. I tried making a video but it didn’t work out (but to see it happen click this link and you’ll see where I got the inspiration from; this artist uses this technique in such a brilliant  way though). It’s a really mesmerizing technique!
